Just couldn’t help myself, I had to take some pics at the recent Rooms on View 2010 to show you. I was lucky I wasn’t thrown out, but a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do!!

This is really exciting! Source has teamed up with Boardmans and the result is a project named “Welcome Home”, and it is a collection of homeware products from as much as 45 local designers, which includes top names such as Adriaan Hugo and Gregor Jenkin through to Inini, Heather Moore and Ngwenya Glass.

Abafazi means “The women” in isiXhosa and isiZulu and indeed it is the nimble hands of women that makes these beautiful products from pure South African mohair, merino wool and ostrich feathers.

I’ve been having my eye on SideAttraction3 for a very long time and I just love their beautiful Karoo moods range that, as the name suggests, have it’s roots in the barren Karoo landscape.
